PepsiCo Names Jill Beraud Worldwide CMO
In Beraud's newly created positon of CMO, she will report to Indra Nooyi, PepsiCo chairman and CEO. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Beraud spent 13 years at Limited Brands as the CMO of Victoria's Secret.
Burger King Has Dropped Its Wallet
In the last few days, people have stumbled upon wallets for an under-the-radar Burger King promotion (currently just in Chicago and Orlando). These "lost" wallets, now found, tell individuals to keep the wallets. Wallets include cash, gift cards to Burger King, etc.It's a well-timed promotion given the current state of the economy. A little pick-me-up during these rough times.

Axl Rose Wants Dr Pepper to Apologize for Giveaway Stunt
In a recent Ad Age article, Axl Rose has actually hired a lawyer to fire off a letter to Dr. Pepper for failing to deliver its promise of giving out free sodas on it Web site. The letter also stated that Dr. Pepper’s campaign hurt the band’s reputation and its much anticipated 17 year album in the making.
